This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a high-level strategic advisor to the principal and founders of Via Logic.
• Offer executive guidance on areas such as organizational growth, mergers and acquisitions, strategic positioning, operational maturity, and long-term business planning.
• Evaluate opportunities, pinpoint risks, advise on structure and sequencing, and prepare the company for potential transactions, partnerships, expansion, and major growth initiatives.
• Assist founders in organizing, prioritizing, and sequencing strategic and operational workstreams.
• Suggest operating rhythms, workflows, accountability frameworks, and practices for cross-functional coordination.
• Examine delivery operations, timekeeping controls, approval workflows, audit readiness, operational risks, security compliance, and DCSA obligations.
• Provide advice on organizational structure, hiring strategies, recruitment operations, leadership capacity, performance evaluations, compensation cycles, benefits decisions, succession planning, and workforce preparedness.
• Counsel on vendors, consultants, strategic partnerships, external relationships, dependencies, risks, ownership, and business value.
• Deliver executive guidance on financial operations, bookkeeping, reporting, profitability, forecasting, QuickBooks Online, Gusto, project reporting, invoicing, expenses, and planning.
• Advise on contracts, NDAs, subcontracts, GSA MAS updates, SAM.gov requirements, compliance, security, transaction readiness, and due diligence.
• Provide limited hands-on support for selected priorities within the approved scope and available hours.
• At least 15+ years of executive leadership, strategic growth, mergers and acquisitions, or a related advisory background.
• Proven experience in advising founders, owners, boards, or executive teams through acquisitions, sales, integrations, due diligence, restructuring, or significant growth events.
• Capability to translate strategic and operational needs into priorities, decision points, owners, risks, and recommended actions.
• Experience providing advice across People and Talent, finance, contracts, compliance, operations, delivery, internal systems, vendors, and partnerships.
• Strong executive communication, analytical, documentation, and decision-support abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fractional consulting role with limited hours.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, founder-led environment with changing priorities.
• Capacity to balance strategic guidance with limited hands-on execution.
• Availability for meetings and collaboration during 9AM–5PM EST.
• Must be U.S.-based.
• Strongly preferred: experience as a fractional COO, in executive advisory, corporate development, transaction advisory, operations consulting, investment banking, private equity operations, or M&A consulting.
• Strongly preferred: experience with founder-led, privately held, or small-to-mid-sized businesses.
• Strongly preferred: expertise in transaction readiness, due diligence, valuation support, post-merger integration, restructuring, or exit planning.
• Strongly preferred: familiarity with government contracting, technology, professional services, or regulated businesses.
• Strongly preferred: knowledge of GSA MAS, SAM.gov, federal contract compliance, subcontract and NDA tracking, and GovCon operations.
• Strongly preferred: experience with audit-ready financials, compliant timekeeping, project-level financial reporting, or GovCon finance.
• Preferred experience advising organizations with DCSA facility clearances.
