This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and support a varied portfolio of specialty insurance operations within Arrowhead Specialty.
• Collaborate with the Division President and profit center leaders to set priorities and enhance business and financial performance.
• Lead the implementation and accountability for operational plans, growth strategies, and critical business goals.
• Integrate and optimize acquired businesses while maintaining an entrepreneurial culture, specialization, and local expertise.
• Create growth strategies and scalable operational frameworks.
• Enhance planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance measurement across the portfolio.
• Supervise operational performance and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in acquisitions, carrier and capacity strategies, strategic partnerships, and new business ventures.
• Cultivate relationships with capacity providers, distribution partners, and key clients.
• Collaborate on capacity initiatives, data strategies, broker and distribution strategies, and technological advancements.
• Modernize platforms, enhance data quality, increase automation and artificial intelligence, and implement solutions that improve performance.
• Spearhead organizational transformations, technology implementations, and the evolution of operating models.
• Promote a high-performance culture and support organizational design, staffing, succession planning, recruitment, teammate development, performance management, and compensation programs.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in insurance, financial services, or related fields.
• Experience in senior operational, business unit, or enterprise leadership roles.
• Proven track record of leading decentralized organizations with multiple business models, operating companies, or geographical locations.
• Background in integrating acquired businesses and managing large-scale organizational change initiatives.
• In-depth understanding of insurance distribution, delegated authority operations, underwriting, claims administration, reinsurance, captive structures, or other specialty insurance operating models.
• Capability to quickly learn and adapt to new business models, products, distribution channels, and market segments.
• Demonstrated success in driving business performance and achieving financial and operational goals in complex, multi-business organizations.
• Experience collaborating with Finance, Technology, Team Resources, Compliance, Legal, and other shared services functions.
