FPGA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Digital Hardware Design & Verification based on requirements (FPGA)

• Capture of Formal Requirements

• Conceptual Design and Hierarchical Breakdown

• In-depth Design (VHDL)

• Verification at the Module Level

• Integration of Hardware Implementation

• Documentation of Formal Design

• Verification of Design through HDL simulation, code assertions, and on-target hardware verification

• Creation of Verification Cases, Test Environments, and Verification Procedures

• Conducting Formal Documentation of Verification Results

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Astronautics Engineering, or related fields

• At least 4 years of experience in complex digital hardware design (either in industry or academia)

• Proficiency in Hardware Description Languages: VHDL, Verilog

• Familiarity with Scripting Languages (e.g., TCL)

• Experience with Windows/Linux (user level, scripting)

• Knowledge of Mentor ModelSim/QuestaSim

• Experience with Xilinx ISE/Vivado and/or MicroSemi Libero

• Proficiency in DOORS and/or JAMA

• Experience with SVN/Clearcase

• Familiarity with Avionics Hardware Development Standards (DO-254) or alternatively in automotive, aerospace, or medical fields
