FPGA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and develop FPGA systems utilizing System Verilog.

• Troubleshoot and debug design-related issues.

• Leverage Xilinx Vivado for FPGA development tasks.

• Configure and analyze signals using ILA for effective debugging.

• Document RTL following industry-standard practices.

• Collaborate with team members across various time zones.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficient in System Verilog.

• Extensive experience with Xilinx FPGAs (acquired by AMD).

• Familiarity with System Verilog and C/C++ programming languages.

• Experience with the Xilinx Versal platform.

• Knowledge of the Xilinx Alveo platform.

• Experience with QSFP+ fiber communication and encoding methods.

• Proficient in waveform analysis for debugging and optimization tasks.

• Experience with GTY/GTM technologies.

• Ability to use and create custom interfaces based on the AXI protocol.

• Skilled in resolving timing violations through constraints and logic critical path analysis.

• Capability to create testbenches for validating RTL functionality.

• Advanced debugging capabilities and signal analysis using ILA.

• Competent in interpreting technical documents and standards to design hardware accordingly.

• Experience in a startup environment.

• Equivalent qualifications may be considered in place of the specified degree.
