This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as the main point of contact for Investor Relations within the Power segment.
• Oversee the creation of Q&A responses that align with segment data and strategic objectives.
• Transition and automate processes to replace manual Excel-based data collection.
• Deliver strategic ad hoc analytics serving as the CFO analyst.
• Manage ongoing operational and financial activities for the Power segment.
• Compile and synthesize the monthly Bowlers commentary.
• Organize letters, calendars, and communications for the Executive Leadership Team.
• Assist in Budget & Strategy planning and the closing cycles.
• Update financial modeling as part of the Strat 360 journey.
• Lead and support closing activities, which include Gas Power data requests, margin walks, and additional financial reporting.
• Direct segment-wide projects that involve Ledger Base Reporting, operational hierarchy transitions, Nuclear/Hydro BAM implementation, and Workday Tier 3/4 updates.
• Collaborate with Business Lines finance teams to facilitate communication, feedback, and adherence to reporting standards.
• Propel digital and process transformation initiatives across the global finance organization.
• Ensure stakeholder engagement and manage the deployment lifecycle for financial tools.
• Implement change management strategies to enhance end-user adoption and efficiency.
• Maintain controllership and financial compliance with GE Vernova policies and internal controls.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Foster critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
• Lead special initiatives that include Direct Air Capture, Enterprise Risk Management, and Pricing Steering Committee activities.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• At least 7 years of progressively responsible finance experience.
• Preferred experience in leadership roles.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Capability to partner with and motivate an operating team.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in leading programs and projects.
• Proficient in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
• Established project management expertise.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
