• Develop and sustain cohort models encompassing customers, suppliers, product categories (jewellery, diamonds, gemstones), and geographical areas.
• Analyze growth by breaking it down into rate and base effects (new vs. existing, price vs. volume, mix shifts, FX) to understand which factors are driving results.
• Generate analytics that guide our focus areas: determining where to invest, where to cut back, and where to maintain current efforts.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and RevOps to establish the operational rhythm: pipeline metrics, conversion rates, ramp curves, productivity per representative, CAC, and LTV segmented by category.
• Identify inefficiencies in the GTM process and partner with the team to implement solutions.
• Develop business cases for recruitment, territory expansion, TAM/SAM/SOM evaluations, pricing adjustments, and new GTM strategies.
• In collaboration with Finance teams and utilizing AI agents, take ownership of the essential management reporting package: regular KPI reviews, monthly P&L and KPI commentary, and quarterly business assessments.
• Create and maintain company-wide reports for distribution during all-hands meetings and asynchronous updates.
• Enhance our short-term forecasting and annual operating plans alongside department leaders.
• Act as the finance partner for cross-functional initiatives, providing analytical rigor without hindering team momentum.
• Utilize Anthropic’s Claude platform for analysis, modeling, and report automation.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a similar corporate finance role, or in a top-tier strategy consultancy with a strong focus on financial modeling.
• Proficient in financial modeling and Excel, including cohort analysis, three-statement modeling, and unit economics.
• A solid understanding of how operational drivers influence P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, with the capability to convert this into clear, actionable insights.
• A keen interest in transitioning to the operational side and contributing to a high-growth marketplace, demonstrating the discipline to learn the business comprehensively.
• Familiarity with AI-driven methodologies, or the eagerness to explore the use of Anthropic’s Claude platform as part of your daily tasks.
• Experience within B2B marketplaces, fintech, or businesses heavily reliant on payments.
• Practical experience with Snowflake, NetSuite, ThoughtSpot, or similar data, ERP, and BI tools.
• SQL skills, or a willingness to acquire them.
• Experience collaborating with Go-to-Market teams (Sales, Marketing, RevOps) on commercial analytics or planning.
