FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the preparation and upkeep of budgets, forecasts, and financial models for various DTC and eCommerce clients.

• Contribute to weekly and monthly reporting, aiding in the identification of key performance trends and business drivers.

• Evaluate revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, customer acquisition costs, and cash flow performance.

• Create reporting packs and dashboards that enable clients to make informed commercial decisions.

• Aid in scenario planning and growth modeling activities.

• Help convert financial data into clear, actionable insights for founders and leadership teams.

• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of reporting templates and financial models.

• Work with extensive datasets across various systems, including Shopify, Amazon, marketing platforms, and finance systems.

• Assist in month-end performance evaluations and forecast updates.

• Support data validation and reconciliation to guarantee reporting accuracy.

• Contribute to the enhancement of forecasting processes, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools.

• Take part in automation projects and process improvements.

• Assist with internal KPI reporting as eClarity continues to expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, finance analysis, management accounts, or a comparable analytical finance role.

• Proficient in Excel and/or Google Sheets.

• Familiarity with large datasets using Google BigQuery (or similar cloud-based data warehousing tools).

• Comfortable engaging with data and identifying trends.

• Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating findings.

• Commercially curious and eager to understand business growth dynamics.

• Proactive approach with a desire to learn and develop rapidly.

• Experience in eCommerce, DTC, retail, marketplace, or subscription business models is advantageous but not essential.
