Founding Technical Lead, Defense Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop robust and secure backend systems from inception.

• Take ownership of APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

• Integrate wearable sensors with clinical dashboards.

• Design systems for GovCloud tailored to federal users.

• Provide support for FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST, and DFARS compliance.

• Create workflows for real-time biometric data processing.

• Strengthen systems to be ready for audit environments.

• Assist in recruiting and shaping the inaugural technical team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in backend or full-stack engineering.

• Proficient in API and cloud architecture.

• Experience with government or secure cloud environments.

• Familiarity with FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST, DFARS, or HIPAA/HITECH standards.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Located in Texas or open to relocating to Austin.
