Founding AI Engineer – Senior/Staff

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and implement machine learning and deep learning models.

• Develop scalable data pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.

• Enhance and deploy AI models for both real-time and batch processing.

• Collaborate closely with founders to ensure AI strategies are in line with product and business objectives.

• Investigate and incorporate cutting-edge AI methodologies.

• Create and refine RAG pipelines, agent architectures, and LLM-driven systems.

• Submit an application to become part of SignalFire’s Talent Ecosystem.

• Partner with SignalFire talent associates and leaders of portfolio companies when suitable opportunities arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or applied AI.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.

• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop.

• Experience utilizing MLOps platforms.

• Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Understanding of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Previous experience in startups or a keen interest in early-stage environments is advantageous.
