Foster Care Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Advocate for the best interests of youth during court hearings, school meetings, and child/family team discussions.

• Deliver weekly direct casework services, fostering strong relationships with the youth on your caseload.

• Create and execute treatment plans while conducting intake assessments to guarantee that each child receives appropriate care.

• Organize monthly family visits, track educational progress and school attendance, and coordinate medical and therapeutic services.

• Keep accurate and current case records, and generate monthly progress reports for families and referring organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology) or Education is mandatory.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a committed team of advocates and accept professional supervision.

• Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

• Capability to meet the physical demands of the position (standing, climbing stairs, lifting up to 40 lbs) and manage the emotional challenges of child welfare.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Sponsorship is not available).

• Candidates should live within a 45-minute commute of Johnson City, TN.
