Forward Deployment Engineer – Azure AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Serve as the practical intermediary between Nebius’s Azure AI platform and client or requestor teams.

• Facilitate the onboarding of client and requestor projects onto the Azure AI platform using established runbooks and optimal pathways.

• Collaborate closely with teams during the onboarding process, go-live phase, and initial operations.

• Implement and modify Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines to suit project workloads.

• Assist in the deployment and lifecycle management of machine learning workloads on Azure.

• Identify gaps, delivery challenges, and feature enhancement requests.

• Offer ongoing, structured insights to the Platform Engineering team.

• Enhance runbooks, documentation, and reusable onboarding methodologies.

• Maintain security, governance, and compliance standards throughout every onboarding process.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, solution engineering, or technical consulting.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and familiarity with the Azure Well-Architected Framework.

• Proficient in core Azure AI, machine learning, and platform services.

• Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or equivalent tools.

• Understanding of machine learning model deployment and lifecycle management concepts.

• Excellent client-facing, consulting, and stakeholder communication abilities.

• Proficient in English at an intermediate level or higher.
