Forward Deployed Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Resolve bugs, implement features, and automate recurring processes from start to finish.

• You utilize Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot on a daily basis to create AI-enabled workflows, rather than merely using them.

• Enhance Nucleus, write SQL queries, clean data, and minimize manual labor through automation.

• Replicate bugs, test solutions, and ensure end-to-end processes are validated prior to release.

• Convert operational challenges into clearly defined technical tasks and deliver the solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundational knowledge across the entire technology stack and genuine fluency with AI tools, not someone who is just getting familiar with them.

• Programming Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, and SQL. Proficiency in HTML/CSS and shell scripting as necessary. Python knowledge is a plus.

• Frontend Technologies: React, Next.js, Tailwind. Familiarity with forms, tables, dashboards, and internal user interfaces.

• Backend Technologies: Node.js, REST APIs, and basic authentication. Capable of troubleshooting API and integration problems.

• Data Management: Experience with PostgreSQL or Supabase. Skills in data cleaning, validation, and ad hoc reporting.

• Cloud Services: GCP is preferred (AWS is an advantage). Knowledge of deployments, environment variables, logs, and access control.

• AI & Automation: Regular use of OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini APIs. Skills in prompt engineering, structured outputs, and function calling. Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, AI agents, or no-code automation is advantageous.

• Testing: Ability to reproduce bugs and confirm fixes. Experience with Playwright is a plus.

• Additional Skills: Proficiency in Git/GitHub, strong English communication skills, and comfort navigating ambiguity. Experience with Stripe is beneficial.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1).
