Forward Deployed Engineer – Implementation Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as a pivotal team member overseeing the technical facets of direct customer deployment implementations.

• Acquire comprehensive technical expertise in Second Front products and serve as a reliable subject matter expert for the Federal team, both internally and externally.

• Recognize opportunities for enhancement in our onboarding and customer support processes, collaborating with product teams to synchronize roadmaps with demand signals.

• Integrate our customers’ applications into GameWarden for security scanning, deployment configuration, and the development of accreditation products.

• Set up and execute customer deployments within cloud environments.

• Utilize on-premises hardware to prepare and install devices equipped with secure operating systems and Kubernetes.

• Serve as an essential team contributor, leading the technical execution of direct customer platform integrations.

• Attain mastery of the technical intricacies of our toolset to function as a high-impact subject matter expert within the Federal division.

• Be a self-motivated individual who excels both independently and in collaborative environments.

• Possess strong client-facing operational experience, preferably within the Defense Industrial Base (partnerships or customer success), with a passion for problem-solving to achieve mission success.

• Have practical experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure (certified or willing to obtain certification).

• Demonstrate hands-on experience in Linux installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

• Hold mid to senior-level experience in technical roles (software engineering, sales engineering, technical product management) with demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.

• Exhibit hands-on experience in software development, networking, or DevOps with cloud technologies.

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively communicate in high-pressure environments.

• Maintain an active Security Clearance (TS/SCI) or have the ability to obtain SCI.

• Be knowledgeable about DevSecOps tools and practices.

• Be prepared to support occasional travel of up to 25%.
