Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients to gain insights into their workflows, technical environments, and criteria for success.

• Assist in pre-sales discovery and the shaping of technical solutions.

• Design and create prototypes for AI-native applications and agents.

• Develop and launch production-ready systems.

• Integrate with APIs, enterprise systems, and client environments.

• Diagnose issues and facilitate adoption by removing obstacles.

• Convert business requirements into actionable technical solutions.

• Identify product deficiencies and edge cases derived from customer interactions.

• Work in tandem with product and engineering teams to provide implementation feedback.

• Establish trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid software engineering experience with a track record of delivering production systems.

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, or related fields.

• Practical experience in developing AI-native applications, agents, or systems powered by LLM.

• Strong grasp of APIs, contemporary application architectures, and enterprise integrations.

• Ability to assess technical feasibility and convey trade-offs effectively.

• Comfortable working in uncertain and rapidly changing environments.

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• High degree of ownership and a focus on customer outcomes.

• Experience in supporting enterprise sales processes with live prototypes or proofs of value (preferred but not required).

• Experience in influencing product direction through customer-facing activities (preferred but not required).

• Familiarity with agent frameworks, prompt engineering, or AI orchestration patterns (preferred but not required).

• Background in startups or high-growth settings (preferred but not required).

• Experience engaging in both pre-sale and post-sale phases of customer delivery (preferred but not required).
