Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients to gain insights into their workflows, technical environments, and criteria for success.

• Assist in pre-sales exploration and the development of technical solutions.

• Design and create prototypes for AI-native applications and agents.

• Develop and implement production-ready systems.

• Integrate with APIs, enterprise systems, and client environments.

• Resolve issues and facilitate adoption.

• Convert business requirements into actionable technical solutions.

• Recognize product gaps and edge cases based on customer interactions.

• Work alongside product and engineering teams to provide implementation feedback.

• Establish trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust software engineering background with a track record of delivering production systems.

• Experience in customer-facing technical positions such as forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, or related roles.

• Practical experience in building AI-native applications, agents, or systems powered by LLMs.

• Strong grasp of APIs, contemporary application architectures, and enterprise integrations.

• Capability to assess technical feasibility and articulate trade-offs effectively.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• High level of ownership and a strong focus on achieving customer outcomes.

• Experience in supporting enterprise sales cycles with live prototypes or proofs of value (preferred).

• Experience in influencing product direction through customer-facing interactions (preferred).

• Familiarity with agent frameworks, prompt engineering, or AI orchestration patterns (preferred).

• Background in startups or rapidly growing environments (preferred).

• Experience engaging in both pre-sale and post-sale phases of customer delivery (preferred).
