Forward Deployed Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery sessions with potential customers, identifying integration requirements, data architecture limitations, and risk decision-making goals across onboarding, fraud, credit, and compliance scenarios.

• Design and implement proof-of-concept solutions utilizing Oscilar's platform.

• Create and deliver technically comprehensive solution architectures customized to each prospect's environment.

• Assist in addressing technical components of RFPs, security inquiries, and integration feasibility evaluations.

• Act as the primary technical representative during the evaluation phase, establishing credibility and trust with engineering, data, and risk teams on the client side.

• Oversee the complete technical implementation process for new clients in collaboration with the Technical Account Manager, Account Executive, and Sales Engineer.

• Configure and enhance Oscilar's AI agents and decision-making rules to align with each customer’s operational context.

• Conduct technical health reviews, proactively identify performance gaps, and ensure prompt resolution of escalations with accountability.

• Facilitate technical enablement sessions and training to empower customer teams with confidence and independence.

• Design and implement multi-step agentic workflows for clients.

• Guide clients in formulating their agentic AI strategy for risk management operations.

• Remain updated on agentic AI trends, tools, and emerging best practices, incorporating that knowledge into every client strategy discussion.

• Analyze patterns across customer implementations and provide structured product feedback, feature requests, and gap analyses to Oscilar's product and engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years in a technical customer-facing position such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Forward Deployed Engineer within an Agentic AI organization, B2B SaaS, or fintech sector.

• Proven experience managing technical implementations from start to finish, from initial scoping to production launch.

• Experience with financial services clients, particularly in fraud, credit risk, AML/compliance, or payments, is highly desirable.

• Previous experience in deploying or configuring AI/ML platforms, agentic workflows, or LLM-powered systems in an enterprise setting is a significant advantage.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and data integration methodologies (ETL, event streaming, Snowflake and other cloud data warehouses).

• Proficient in reading and writing SQL; capable of navigating and interpreting data pipelines, model outputs, and feature schemas.

• Expertise in JSON, data schemas, and enterprise integration architectures.

• Practical experience using LLMs (Claude, GPT, or similar) for real-world problem-solving, including log analysis, debugging agent behavior, and structuring prompts for workflow automation.

• Proven ability to create effective LLM prompts, including prompt structuring, iterative refinement, and translating business requirements into AI task instructions.

• Familiarity with agentic AI principles: agent orchestration, tool usage, memory, human-in-the-loop design, and evaluation frameworks.

• Capable of configuring and troubleshooting complex software platforms in depth; this role demands engineering-level insights and platform expertise, not production software development.

• Experience with API testing and prototyping tools (Postman, etc.); capable of independently constructing and validating lightweight integrations and agent workflow setups.

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and comfortable operating within cloud-native environments.
