Forward Deployed Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead the technical discovery process with potential clients, identifying integration needs, data architecture limitations, and risk decision-making goals across onboarding, fraud, credit, and compliance scenarios.

• Take ownership of the complete technical implementation for new clients in collaboration with the Technical Account Manager, Account Executive, and Sales Engineer, from kickoff to go-live: including integration design, data mapping, agent workflow setup, and UAT assistance.

• Create and implement multi-step agentic workflows for clients, automating processes such as onboarding, fraud investigation, credit decision-making, case management, alert triage, and compliance monitoring from start to finish.

• Identify trends across customer deployments and provide structured product feedback, feature requests, and gap analyses to Oscilar's product and engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a technical customer-facing position, such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Forward Deployed Engineer within an Agentic AI company, B2B SaaS, or fintech sector.

• Proven history of managing technical implementations from start to finish, from initial scoping to production go-live.

• Experience working with financial services clients, particularly in fraud, credit risk, AML/compliance, or payments, is highly desirable.

• Previous experience in deploying or configuring AI/ML platforms, agentic workflows, or LLM-powered systems in an enterprise setting is a considerable advantage.

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, and data integration methodologies (ETL, event streaming, Snowflake, and other cloud data warehouses).

• Proficient in reading and writing SQL; capable of navigating and interpreting data pipelines, model outputs, and feature schemas.

• Familiarity with JSON, data schemas, and enterprise integration architectures.

• Practical experience using LLMs (Claude, GPT, or similar) for solving real-world problems, including log analysis, debugging agent behavior, and structuring prompts for workflow automation.

• In-depth hands-on expertise with LLMs, including structuring prompts for workflow automation, iterative refinement based on outputs, debugging agent behavior, and transforming ambiguous business requirements into clear AI task instructions. You have built applications using Claude or GPT, not just interacted with the chat interface.

• Proven ability to create effective LLM prompts, including prompt structuring, iterative refinement, and converting business requirements into AI task instructions.

• Capability to configure and troubleshoot complex software platforms in depth; this position necessitates engineering-level thinking and mastery of the platform, rather than standard software development.

• Experience with API testing and prototyping tools (like Postman); ability to independently create and validate lightweight integrations and agent workflow configurations.

• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and comfort working within cloud-native environments.
