As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be instrumental in implementing advanced AI systems directly in client environments, serving as the primary technical liaison and trusted advisor for key manufacturing accounts.

• **Key responsibilities include:**

• - Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of AI deployment for manufacturing clients, from initial scoping and integration to production hardening and handover.

• - Collaborate closely with customer operations and IT teams, acting as the main technical advisor and point of contact.

• - Integrate AI vision systems with OT/IT/cloud infrastructures, including OPC-UA/Modbus/PLCs, NVIDIA Jetson edge inference, ERP systems, and customer cloud platforms.

• - Develop and refine data pipelines and customer-side data flywheels, addressing edge-to-cloud capture, model deployment, monitoring, and feedback loops.

• - Diagnose software, networking, and integration challenges in active production environments.

• - Document architectures and configurations, creating formal handover materials for long-term support.

• - Provide training for customer operators and engineers in both French and English to ensure successful adoption and effective operation of deployed systems.

• - Engage in pre-sales scoping discussions and contribute insights from the field to the product and engineering roadmap, aiding in the development of reusable deployment patterns and internal tools.

• - Assist with on-site data collection and annotation as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required Qualifications:

• - Over 6 years of experience merging production software engineering with industrial automation and/or applied AI.

• - Demonstrated experience in deploying and supporting production software systems within customer infrastructures.

• - Solid experience in production Python development, with practical use of Linux, Docker, and Git in production settings.

• - Experience in cloud deployment and operations with at least one major platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• - Hands-on familiarity with at least one of the following: OPC-UA/Modbus/PLC integration, NVIDIA Jetson (or equivalent) edge platforms, or GenICam/industrial vision systems.

• - Understanding of networking fundamentals for industrial deployments, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and firewalls.

• - Background in a customer-facing engineering role as the primary technical contact for external stakeholders.

• - Professional working proficiency in English.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• - Professional experience in industrial automation or manufacturing settings involving OT/IT integration.
