This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate across Sales, Product, R&D, and Implementation teams.
• Partner with Solutions Consultants and Account Executives on key accounts and new opportunities.
• Take ownership of discovery, technical scoping, architecture, implementation, evaluation, productionization, adoption, and transition for strategic customer solutions.
• Establish the current product using customer data to demonstrate value during deals.
• Quickly prototype near-production-ready solutions when product capabilities fall short of customer needs.
• Design, deploy, and assess solutions utilizing customer data.
• Analyze adoption rates, workflow impact, reliability, and time-to-value.
• Develop production solutions that ensure security, reliability, observability, maintainability, and architectural integration.
• Collaborate with Product and R&D to transform validated customer patterns and production evidence into roadmap investments, reusable components, and platform enhancements.
• Create reusable accelerators based on recurring customer requirements.
• Continuously develop and update solution specifications in collaboration with customers.
• Assess business potential, market needs, competitive differentiation, and functional and technical specifications with Product.
• Influence deal ACV and expedite the time to the first working prototype.
• Monitor the transition of prototypes to production and the reuse of delivered patterns and accelerators.
• Strong customer-facing and commercial skills.
• Ability to conduct technical discovery sessions and engage in value discussions with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Capacity to link technical efforts to customer outcomes and deal value.
• Skill in generalizing customer solutions into reusable accelerators.
• Experience in LLM application development, RAG, prompt and context engineering, and agent orchestration.
• Good judgment in distinguishing between single versus multi-agent patterns and managing memory and state.
• Proficiency with modern AI coding tools like Claude Code.
• Familiarity with enterprise integrations in regulated utility sectors.
• Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS/Smallworld, IBM Maximo/EAM, SAP/Oracle ERP/PPM, and PowerBI/reporting systems.
• Technical and functional knowledge of REST and streaming APIs, authentication patterns, and enterprise systems of record.
• Domain experience in asset-intensive industries or capital and asset investment planning is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as necessary, up to approximately 50%.
• Preferred background in software or data engineering.
• Experience in developing and delivering maintainable production software.
• Proficiency in Angular, Python, or a similar programming language.
• Understanding of SQL, data modeling, and data ingestion, transformation, and serving pipelines.
• Strong debugging skills with imperfect customer data in live environments.
• Depth in production engineering related to observability, performance, and scaling operations.
• Prior experience in customer-facing technical roles, solutions engineering, forward deployment, technical consulting, or startup environments is preferred.
• Experience in deploying AI solutions in enterprise or regulated settings is favored.
