Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Interact with Public Safety, Military, and other Professional customers

• Oversee and respond to support inquiries related to the Professional line of products

• Record current use cases, challenges, and potential opportunities

• Provide regular updates to management regarding product and customer performance

• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to resolve technical issues

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards

• Conduct both virtual and in-person customer training sessions and equipment installations

• Assist with technical presales initiatives, including customer demonstrations

• Support business development efforts such as RFPs, demonstrations, trade shows, and Q&A sessions

• Champion customer needs by identifying challenges and suggesting product improvements, new functionalities, and new products

• Travel may be required up to 50%

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, ideally in deploying or utilizing technology products within a Public Safety or Military context

• Some background in tactical communications

• Strong technical foundation with practical experience in digital technologies

• Capability to understand customer needs and propose timely solutions

• Outstanding organizational, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Physical capacity to lift 30 pounds of equipment and work in challenging environments

• Familiarity with CRM tools and ticketing systems such as Salesforce or Jira

• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively

• Skill in conveying technical details and requirements to both non-technical and highly technical audiences

• Strong work ethic and capacity to deliver quick and effective resolutions to customer inquiries

• Customer-service orientation and ability to cultivate strong customer relationships

• Strategic thinking and planning capabilities

• Ability to lift 30 lbs.

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance may be necessary
