This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the technical authority at the convergence of Palantir Foundry's platform functionalities and our most intricate, high-impact healthcare data and operational initiatives.
• Take a hands-on approach as an independent FDE, responsible for designing enterprise-grade solutions, overseeing development and deployment, mentoring as necessary, and shaping the technical strategy for key engagements within our client's healthcare ecosystem.
• Propel transformational results for our kidney care and healthcare operations.
• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting, with a minimum of 2 years focused on Palantir Foundry.
• High proficiency in Python (including PySpark, Pandas, Polars) and SQL; experience with TypeScript is a significant advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Foundry Ontology, encompassing object types, link types, action types, interfaces, and functions.
• Demonstrated success in designing and deploying production-grade data pipelines (both batch and streaming) at an enterprise level.
• Experience in developing Workshop applications and/or OSDK-based applications using React/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and IAM.
• Proficient in Google BigQuery, including query optimization, partitioning/clustering strategies, BigQuery ML, data warehousing patterns, and migrating from legacy EDW platforms (e.g., Netezza, Teradata).
• Experience with AIP (AI Platform), including AIP Logic, AIP Agents, evaluation suites, and LLM-powered functions.
• Knowledge of machine learning workflows in Foundry, such as Model Studio, pro-code model authoring, and batch/live inference.
• Experience in implementing data governance frameworks, including markings, ABAC, restricted views, Cipher for data protection, and HIPAA-compliant data handling.
• A background in healthcare, particularly kidney care, or clinical operations, with experience in revenue cycle optimizations being a plus.
• Proven ability to lead teams of 3 or more engineers in forward-deployed environments.
• Contributions to internal tools, open-source projects, or platform promotion.
