Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with institutional clients to transition Prividium from a signed agreement to an operational chain within their infrastructure.

• Take full ownership of deployments from start to finish, encompassing integration code, permissioning, node topology, upgrade paths, and operational runbooks for customers.

• Develop reference applications that showcase collateral movement, tokenized deposit transfers, and settlement processes.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Prividium and its associated hosted services.

• Address production issues as they arise and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.

• Partner with the Head of Product and Head of Sales to identify key accounts for deeper engagement.

• Collaborate with the core engineering team to ascertain which elements from customer deployments should transition into the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with production software that you have managed and maintained, including being on-call for it.

• Proficient coding skills; daily use of TypeScript or Rust, or advanced proficiency in Java, C#, Go, Python, or a similar language with the ability to quickly learn TypeScript or Rust.

• Significant experience in customer environments as a forward-deployed engineer, solutions architect, or technical founder.

• For banking-track candidates: experience in building or integrating software for financial institutions or regulated financial frameworks.

• For banking-track candidates: foundational knowledge of core banking systems, custody and key management, identity and entitlements, ISO 20022 or similar messaging standards, enterprise authentication, and network architecture.

• For banking-track candidates: familiarity with risk, compliance, controls, SLAs, and procurement processes.

• For crypto infrastructure-track candidates: experience with Ethereum execution clients and node internals; direct experience with reth is highly desirable.

• For crypto infrastructure-track candidates: practical experience with Rust in production environments.

• For crypto infrastructure-track candidates: experience managing chain infrastructure in production, including node topology, upgrades, synchronization and reorganization behavior, and monitoring.

• For crypto infrastructure-track candidates: experience with Solidity or a readiness to learn it promptly.

• For crypto infrastructure-track candidates: foundational understanding of rollup and bridging mechanics.

• For crypto infrastructure-track candidates: capability to articulate cryptographic trust guarantees to audiences lacking that background.

• Availability for shared on-call responsibilities.

• Working hours should overlap with North American and European time zones.
