Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate organized pre-sales discovery meetings with PMOs, IT, security, and business stakeholders.

• Map out the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC), governance checkpoints, and project toolchains.

• Document both current and desired operational states.

• Suggest pilot scope, integration strategies, data flows, access and compliance considerations, and a risk/effort matrix.

• Develop post-sales operationalization plans that encompass environments, access, data onboarding, controls, success metrics, and exit criteria.

• Implement, configure, and validate connectors and data pathways in collaboration with customer IT teams.

• Create reusable checklists and operational runbooks.

• Document daily operations, incident management, permissioning, and change management processes.

• Provide training for project managers, PMO analysts, and sponsors.

• Monitor adoption through a scorecard.

• Collaborate with the CEO and product team to translate customer requirements into repeatable capabilities, templates, and integrations.

• Gather feedback from the field to shape Harmony's roadmap, tone, behaviors, and interaction patterns.

• Oversee delivery status across workstreams while ensuring quality and pace.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a customer-facing position focused on solution discovery and deployment for enterprise software or systems integration.

• Strong technical project management experience.

• Familiarity with PMLC, RAID, resource and stakeholder communication, and benefits tracking.

• PMP certification is preferred.

• Knowledge of AI is beneficial.

• Proficient in enterprise PM/PPM/SPM tools such as Microsoft Project, Planner, Jira, Smartsheet, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, UMT360, Fluid, Notion, and Miro.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex environments.

• Capable of writing discovery notes, runbooks, checklists, and training materials.

• A builder mindset with a proactive approach; comfortable navigating ambiguity and changing requirements.

• Basic understanding of security and compliance.

• Experience in deploying solutions within Fortune 500 companies is preferred.

• Familiarity with OAuth and SSO is a plus.

• Exposure to AI agents or automation in real project workflows is advantageous.
