Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions with partners.

• Design and implement integrations for REST, webhooks, and tokenization APIs.

• Develop and maintain custom scripts and lightweight services.

• Oversee technical integrations from sandbox environments to production.

• Collaborate with partner development teams to ensure best practices are followed in integrations.

• Utilize AI tools for automating code generation.

• Create repeatable delivery playbooks and certifications enhanced by AI.

• Work closely with Sales, Product, and Operations teams to ensure successful implementation.

• Take ownership of successful partner implementations, focusing on time-to-live, quality, and scalability.

• Develop reusable assets assisted by AI, such as MCPs, templates, and scripts.

• Deliver improvements in efficiency and establish technical trust with partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of experience in software or solutions engineering.

• Proficient in APIs and integrations.

• Strong skills in Java, TypeScript, or comparable programming languages.

• Ability to adapt communication to the partner's technical language.

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles.

• Interest in or experience with AI-enhanced engineering practices.

• Preferred background in payments or fintech.

• Familiarity with gateways and payment facilitators is a plus.

• Experience with cloud technologies; AWS experience preferred.

• Knowledge of AI developer tools such as Kiro, Claude, or CoPilot is preferred.

• Must have pre-existing legal authorization to work in Canada.
