Forward Deployed Engineer

📋 Description

• Identify and comprehend the most significant multi-step tasks of customers that can be automated.

• Effectively integrate with customer systems, encompassing databases, third-party APIs, and internal tools, among others.

• Quickly iterate in the field with close feedback loops to enhance product alignment and facilitate comprehensive solution delivery.

• Design, construct, and sustain production-grade services that can scale according to usage and complexity.

• Work in close collaboration with product, research, and engineering teams to define the roadmap and align priorities based on field insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, preferably in dynamic environments such as startups, consulting, or product teams, or demonstrated technical proficiency through relevant projects and experiences.

• Experience with AI/ML systems, particularly in integrating LLMs or other automated workflows into tangible products.

• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js, Java) alongside fluency in English.

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and an appreciation for UI/UX considerations.

• Proven experience in building and deploying production systems, including APIs, services, infrastructure, and/or data pipelines.

• Skillful in securely and reliably integrating third-party APIs, databases, and external systems.

• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to excel in ambiguous, customer-facing situations.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• A proactive approach—capable of rapid shipping, quick iterations, and managing the complete lifecycle of solutions.

• Openness to travel for on-site deployments or customer interactions.
