Forward Deployed Engineer

📋 Description

• Comprehend and pinpoint the most significant and impactful multi-step tasks of customers for automation.

• Integrate seamlessly with customer systems, encompassing databases, third-party APIs, and internal tools, among others.

• Engage in rapid field iterations with tight feedback loops to enhance product fit and facilitate end-to-end solution delivery.

• Design, develop, and sustain production-grade services that scale according to usage and complexity.

• Work collaboratively with product, research, and engineering teams to shape the roadmap and align priorities based on field findings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in dynamic environments such as startups, consulting firms, or product teams, or demonstrated technical proficiency through various projects and experiences.

• Experience with AI/ML systems, particularly in integrating LLMs or other agentic workflows into actual products.

• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js, Java) in addition to English.

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and an understanding of UI/UX trade-offs.

• Experience in building and deploying production systems, including APIs, services, infrastructure, and/or data pipelines.

• Expertise in securely and reliably integrating third-party APIs, databases, and external systems.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for thriving in ambiguous, customer-facing situations.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken.

• A proactive approach—capable of shipping quickly, iterating swiftly, and managing the complete lifecycle of solutions.

• Willingness to travel for on-site deployments or customer engagements.
