Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop assigned components and features, such as production data pipelines, LLM applications, agents, and workflow automations.

• Take ownership of implementation decisions within the defined scope while ensuring quality, testing, and reliability.

• Transform specific requirements into functional software.

• Engage in architecture reviews, standup meetings, and collaborative working sessions.

• Identify and communicate blockers, risks, and changes in scope to the Senior Engineer or Architect.

• Produce documentation and create runnable, maintainable code.

• Collaborate directly with client engineers and stakeholders.

• Acquire knowledge of new tools, patterns, and stack components as required by engagements.

• Work on production data platforms, AI applications, intelligent agents, and modern analytics systems, frequently utilizing Databricks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical delivery.

• Capability to interpret a scoped requirement and produce working, production-quality software with minimal supervision.

• Practical experience in application or backend development, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), data pipeline development, or LLM application development.

• Strong foundational knowledge in at least one primary programming language: Python, Scala, Java, or equivalent.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Effective communication skills with both technical engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work within different codebases and environments while adapting to client-specific constraints and standards.

• Willingness to learn the client-facing aspects of the role.

• Experience with Databricks is advantageous but not mandatory upon hiring.

• Obtaining Databricks and Anthropic certification is expected after being hired.
