Forward Deployed Engineer, AI & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Transition a Palantir Foundry proof of concept into a production environment, encompassing data pipelines, ontology, application layer, governance, and observability.

• Collaborate with business and product teams to conduct discovery and convert policies and operational procedures into functional code and agent logic.

• Establish an adoption or delivery metric in conjunction with the client’s business leader, take ownership of it, and provide regular reports.

• Educate client engineers during the building process to ensure that the capability remains with the client.

• Influence the roadmap from proof of concept to a market-ready product that the client can commercialize.

• Integrate with the client, take responsibility for outcomes, and ensure delivery.

• Work alongside client product and business teams and provide training to their internal engineers.

• Engage in forward-deployed AI pods that are accountable for delivering measurable business results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software, data, or ML engineering with senior-level accountability for production systems.

• Practical experience with Palantir Foundry, including Pipeline Builder, Ontology, and Workshop; AIP experience is highly advantageous.

• Alternatively, substantial experience with a similar platform such as Databricks or Snowflake, with proof of rapid platform adaptation.

• Proficiency in production Python and SQL.

• Knowledge of TypeScript or Java is an asset.

• Experience in building with LLMs and agents, covering retrieval, tool use, evaluation, and progressing beyond the demo phase.

• Background in consulting, solutions engineering, or client-embedded delivery.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English; confidence in presenting to executives.

• Experience in healthcare, staffing and workforce, or other regulated industry domains is a plus.

• Proven track record of capability transfer through training, pairing, or engagement playbooks is a plus.

• Previous roles as FDE, solutions architect, or solutions engineer at a platform vendor or AI-native company is a plus.
