Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with enterprise clients to design, develop, and implement agentic AI solutions.

• Create production outcomes for clients and incorporate agentic systems with enterprise platforms.

• Lead technical exploration, define agentic AI use cases, and convert business challenges into engineering deliverables.

• Design target architectures that align with the client's environment, regulatory requirements, and platform preferences.

• Write production-grade code and operate within the client's source control, CI/CD, and deployment infrastructure.

• Develop and optimize retrieval pipelines and ensure secure execution of agent tools within the enterprise.

• Create evaluation suites to identify hallucinations, regressions, grounding gaps, and quality drift.

• Remain engaged during cutover and throughout the initial production iteration cycle.

• Serve as an escalation support for the team following project handover.

• Establish trusted advisor relationships with client engineering, data, security, and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional engineering experience with production systems.

• More than 2 years of experience deploying AI or machine learning systems in production.

• A proven history of collaboration with Fortune 500 or Global 2000 enterprise clients.

• Experience operating through the entire lifecycle of a system.

• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and deliver in emerging technical fields.

• Experience with ERP and enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards, Infor, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Workday, or other record systems.

• Direct experience with SAP and Oracle EBS is highly regarded.

• Familiarity with multiple-agent AI platforms.

• Previous experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Applied AI Engineer, or in a similar embedded delivery role.

• Proficiency in production Python and at least one other enterprise or full-stack programming language.

• Fluency in SQL and data modeling.

• Hands-on experience with retrieval-augmented generation.

• Expertise in designing evaluation suites for LLM-based systems.

• Knowledge of production observability for AI systems.

• Familiarity with at least one major agentic AI platform.

• Understanding of agent tool execution and governance.

• Fundamentals of enterprise integration.

• Competence in UI and front-end development using modern web frameworks.

• Experience with durable execution frameworks, event-driven architectures, or workflow orchestration at an enterprise scale.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for both technical and executive audiences.

• High levels of autonomy, resilience, and pragmatism in complex legacy and politically sensitive environments.
