Forward Deployed AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with enterprise AI teams to design, implement, and scale production-level GenAI observability and evaluation initiatives.

• Facilitate technical discussions with customer stakeholders, including engineers and senior executives, converting business objectives into scalable technical solutions.

• Develop custom integrations, tools, and workflows that enhance the Arize platform to fulfill specific customer needs.

• Oversee multiple concurrent customer engagements, leading projects from the scoping phase to delivery while upholding high standards for technical execution and customer satisfaction.

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to influence implementation strategies, steer product direction, and amplify customer impact.

• Assist in defining and scaling best practices, technical playbooks, and delivery methodologies for the expanding Forward Deployed Engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of practical software development experience with a strong technical foundation.

• Proficiency in building MLOps pipelines and/or developing, deploying, and iterating on Generative AI applications in production settings.

• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) along with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes).

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business audiences.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple client engineering projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality technical results within tight deadlines.

• Comfortable working in dynamic startup or consulting environments.

• Strong enthusiasm for AI.
