FNP or PMHNP – Telehealth Addiction & Mental Health Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Perform initial and follow-up telehealth assessments.

• Provide care for mental health issues and substance use disorders.

• Prescribe medications as necessary and address member inquiries.

• Maintain documentation within the Healthie EHR system.

• Collaborate with counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, case managers, and the wider care team.

• Participate in scheduled team meetings as required.

• Offer evidence-based treatment for individuals dealing with substance use and mental health disorders.

• Enhance Affect’s mobile technology and care-team model to deliver real-time, data-informed behavioral healthcare.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid, unrestricted license in Iowa.

• Active and verifiable FNP or PMHNP license in the states where you practice, as well as in your state of residence if it is not Iowa.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in addiction or mental health treatment; relevant prior experience may be considered for candidates with less than 2 years as an FNP/PMHNP.

• Experience with prescribing Suboxone.

• Active DEA registration.

• Willingness to pursue multi-state licensure.

• Medicaid enrollment is an added advantage.

• Compassion for members facing challenges in behavioral health.

• Proficiency with technology, including EHR systems and mobile applications.
