FM Transformation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• The FM Transformation Analyst will be part of Guidehouse’s Financial Management (FM) practice, providing support to clients within the Department of War.

• This role involves aiding initiatives aimed at transforming essential financial management functions and operations.

• Our finance transformation consultants assist Department of War clients in optimizing all aspects of their technical data structures and automations by enhancing business processes and improving the efficiency of technical data operations.

• The primary focus of this position is to promote excellence in finance and accounting by utilizing technology solutions to provide actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, ensure auditability, and modernize financial processes in accordance with federal standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; approved adjudication of clearance is required before onboarding with Guidehouse.

• Preference will be given to candidates who possess an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance.

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of ONE (1) year of experience in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Logistics, or Business Management is necessary.

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance is desirable.

• An advanced degree, along with certifications in Databricks, PowerBI, Azure, AWS, or other data engineering-related fields, is preferred.

• Experience with Army financial systems, such as ADVANA, GFEBS, and LMP, is advantageous.

• Prior experience in supporting federal audit readiness or CFO functions within the Department of War or similar agencies is a plus.

• Familiarity with data analytics, automation, and AI tools is beneficial.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik), as well as knowledge of data platforms (e.g., Databricks) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), is preferred.

• Strong core technological skills in Python, SQL, Microsoft Dataverse (CDS), Power Apps, Power Automate, Databricks, and PowerBI are desirable.

• Experience with ETL pipelines, data source integration, and big data processing is a plus.

• Background in refactoring and optimizing legacy code is beneficial.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to synthesize complex information to deliver impactful solutions in fast-paced environments are preferred.
