FlexPLM Functional Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Define, align, and document the client's PLM roadmap.

• Assist in identifying new business opportunities and project expansion within existing projects by promoting additional value or outlining and developing the next phase of client roadmaps.

• Lead the consulting team in the planning, analysis, development, and testing of FlexPLM to ensure alignment with client expectations.

• Analyze current business processes to identify issues, complexities, non-value-added steps, and inefficiencies that can be enhanced.

• Direct the analysis and documentation of customer requirements, contributing to the design and implementation of the solutions.

• Aid in the creation of written specifications (e.g., Functional Design Documents, System Description Documents, and Use Case Documents) to capture business process requirements for PTC solutions.

• Manage the financial aspects of the program, including costs, revenue, and margins.

• Align customer processes with the technology through a comprehensive understanding of both PTC's software capabilities and its intended use.

• Provide ongoing project updates to internal and customer cross-functional stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• At least 8 years of experience guiding clients in the design and architecture of their Retail PLM platforms (FlexPLM or Centric PLM preferred).

• Willingness to undertake a consistently high rate (50%) of overnight travel.

• Consulting experience in a retail, engineering, or manufacturing setting.

• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Development processes and methodologies.
