This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Oversee the daily management of the organization's vehicle and equipment fleet.
• Create and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Facilitate vehicle inspections, repairs, and warranty services with both internal technicians and external vendors.
• Track fleet performance, usage, fuel consumption, and operating expenses.
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT, OSHA, and relevant environmental requirements.
• Keep precise records for vehicle registrations, titles, insurance, permits, inspections, and maintenance history.
• Supervise the acquisition, replacement, disposal, and overall asset lifecycle management of vehicles.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors, repair shops, leasing firms, and fuel suppliers.
• Monitor driver qualifications, licensing, training, and adherence to company safety policies.
• Investigate vehicle accidents and manage insurance claims and corrective measures.
• Create and enforce fleet policies and procedures.
• Generate reports and analyze fleet metrics to uncover opportunities for cost reduction and operational enhancements.
• Manage fleet budgets and suggest capital investments.
• Coordinate after-hours support as necessary.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field.
• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in fleet management or transportation management.
• Experience with managing commercial vehicle fleets is preferred.
• Strong understanding of fleet maintenance and repair procedures.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and vehicle safety standards.
• Familiarity with fleet management software and GPS/telematics systems.
• Strong analytical and budgeting capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Capability to negotiate effectively with vendors and service providers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to analyze reports and make informed, data-driven decisions.
