Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Conducts inspections and tests on fire alarm systems to verify their effective operation and compliance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.

• Adjusts or repairs systems that are malfunctioning.

• Oversees the completion of service requests across various locations.

• Organizes inspections for fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.

• Executes on-site inspections, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of fire suppression systems (including water, clean agents, and chemicals).

• Conducts testing and inspections on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.

• Collaborates with the local fire department to prevent responses to testing activities.

• Completes repairs on the fire alarm system and/or the suppression system.

• Documents results of testing and inspections in accordance with the requirements set forth by relevant authorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Water-Based NICET II Certification or the willingness to obtain it is required.

• High School diploma/GED or a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.

• A minimum of five years of experience in the field.

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.

• Capability to frequently lift, carry, and push/pull objects weighing between 0-25 lbs.

• Regular use of vision for both near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) distances.

• Frequent use of hearing and speech for effective oral communication.
