This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Support clients in integrating their data into our software solutions, including managing lease portfolios in LeaseQuery and business contracts within FinQuery Contract Management (FCM).
• Act as the technical expert for client onboarding into FCM, ensuring effective tracking of all business contracts, prepaids, and accruals.
• Manage Professional Service requests from clients, addressing diverse needs across both LeaseQuery and FCM.
• Collaborate with CFOs, Controllers, and other accounting personnel on tight deadlines, guiding customers through best practices in line with relevant accounting standards and contract management protocols.
• Examine lease and contract documents to ensure accurate data entry by our Data Entry team into the software.
• Assist clients throughout the data upload procurement process and facilitate data uploads upon completion.
• Reconcile account balances, including prepaids and accruals, and provide clients with advice on necessary adjustments.
• Offer product knowledge across all areas, such as Journal Entries, Reporting, and Data Entry for both LeaseQuery and FCM.
• Conduct customer training covering all aspects of LeaseQuery and FCM, emphasizing clear and concise explanations.
• Guide clients through best practices in accordance with relevant accounting standards and contract management protocols.
• Interact with multiple teams and clients to ensure the prompt delivery of fast-paced, complex financial projects.
• Conduct all business activities in alignment with FinQuery's policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with lease accounting guidelines (ASC 842, IFRS 16, GASB 87, and GASB 96).
• Understanding of contract lifecycle management concepts and the accounting treatment for prepaids and accruals.
• Ability to adjust to changes in roles and responsibilities while working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced customer service abilities.
• Proficient in Salesforce, MS Office, and G-Suite.
• A 4-year degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience is a plus.
• 1-3 years of combined experience in accounting/finance and customer-facing/client service roles is a bonus.
