Finnish to English OPI/VRI Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Have a strong understanding of the specific vocabulary relevant to the industry, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Deliver all messages accurately and completely, avoiding any additions, omissions, or substitutions.

• Maintain the highest level of customer service during interpretation sessions.

• Enable effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise interpretation of messages.

• Apply established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show a willingness to pursue new professional certifications.

• Communicate and provide updates to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.
