Finnish Tech Linguistic Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Review and refine content that has been localized into your native language.

• Identify and correct errors in the content, including grammar issues, typos, syntax errors, punctuation mistakes, capitalization errors, political incorrectness, inconsistencies, and unnecessary spaces between words or characters.

• Translate materials from English to your native language.

• Evaluate user interfaces for any functional problems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in a relevant field from an accredited college or university, or a comparable mix of education and experience.

• Native-level or fully bilingual proficiency (both spoken and written) in the required language(s).

• Current knowledge of standard technical language usage in the target language.

• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Capability to navigate networks and websites using various browsers.

• Basic understanding of PC hardware (desktops and laptops).

• Fundamental knowledge of smartphones (iPhone or Android).

• Familiarity with Android and iOS operating systems.

• Over 3 years of professional experience in translation and localization.

• Understanding of local culture and trends.

• Active social media user with familiarity with the Facebook Family of Apps.

• Experience with consumer devices that offer utilities like messaging, health tracking, fitness, calendar, and organization.
