Financial Systems Application Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee and execute maintenance, configuration, and daily administration of finance software applications on a global scale for BETSOL's clientele.

• Ensure the seamless and efficient operation of finance applications, reducing disruptions during high-demand finance reporting periods.

• Play a key role in the introduction of new finance software applications, processes, and strategic technological advancements.

• Assume responsibilities assigned to the Global Finance Applications Lead during scheduled absences.

• Direct the configuration of cloud-based software applications and modules, including application settings, administration configurations, and data migrations.

• Manage application role security in accordance with best practices and the global SOX control framework.

• Establish appropriate role security for new Finance applications and guide periodic control assessments in collaboration with auditors.

• Handle user provisioning for Finance applications and oversee associated change request tickets.

• Act as the primary resource for managing Finance applications ticket boards.

• Work alongside senior Finance leadership to prioritize the change pipeline and open tickets.

• Diagnose and resolve software and integration issues related to Finance applications, as well as outages.

• Provide support to outsourced partners in monitoring system performance.

• Evaluate application updates and software releases; organize and lead testing with Finance process owners.

• Aid in training personnel on new Finance technologies, processes, and systems.

• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.

• Assist internal and external auditors concerning Finance applications and technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• 4–6 years of professional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials in a corporate environment.

• At least 5 years of experience managing or administering vendor-hosted cloud applications, preferably in finance.

• Familiarity with applications such as Coupa, Concur, Blackline, and Longview is preferred.

• Strong resourcefulness and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proven experience in supporting projects and collaborating with team members to achieve goals.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; or a demonstrable equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.

• Willingness to work for a US-based client during US EST business hours.
