Financial Services Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to both new and returning students regarding various financial payment options available for their education funding.

• Support students throughout the application process, including gathering necessary documents, managing disbursements, and handling awards.

• Inform students about institutional and academic regulations while assisting them on their path to graduation.

• Keep up-to-date knowledge of Federal, State, and Institutional Policies that regulate Title IV student aid programs.

• Engage with students through phone, email, and other communication methods to address inquiries related to educational funding.

• Audit student accounts to ensure accuracy, manage invoicing, and oversee scheduled payments.

• Reach out to students concerning overdue balances and oversee their payment plans.

• Work collaboratively with internal departments to address and resolve student inquiries.

• A Bachelor's degree or comparable advanced knowledge acquired through experience is essential.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience is required.

• Exceptional customer service abilities.

• Strong attention to detail along with solid mathematical skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.

• Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing various responsibilities.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Competence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with Federal, State, and Institutional Policies that govern Title IV student aid programs.
