Financial Services Alliance Relationship Director

📋 Description

• Implement the Microsoft Financial Services alliance strategy and objectives in alignment with the priorities of Microsoft Global Alliance and the growth agenda of EY Financial Services sector.

• Foster relationships and manage programs with senior stakeholders at Microsoft and EY Financial Services for strategic sector opportunities.

• Enhance field engagement and promote action across various alliance initiatives.

• Establish disciplined governance with defined accountability across global service lines, practices, sectors, priority accounts, regions, and Microsoft counterparts.

• Provide Microsoft Alliance executives and EY Financial Services leadership with actionable insights on pipeline, performance, account activation, and market trends.

• Assist in identifying, developing, and activating Microsoft priority solutions and partner programs within Financial Services.

• Deliver alliance intelligence through financial reporting, analysis of Microsoft impact/influence, sector pipeline visibility, and insights on account activation.

• Identify and activate key Financial Services accounts, supporting business plans, executive relationship mapping, operating cadence, and alliance contracts.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, independence requirements, alliance governance, and commercial standards.

• Collaborate with enablement and Brand, Marketing, and Communications teams on messaging, sales materials, and campaign initiatives specific to the sector.

• Work alongside regional alliance, sector, account, and BMC leaders on marketing and enablement activities related to Financial Services alliance.

• Share content, market insights, knowledge, and best practices with the Global Alliance and Ecosystem Relationship network.

• Coordinate with global and regional teams and travel as required by business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven leadership in relationship management, governance oversight, marketing strategy, contract management, financial management, content management, and operational support.

• Extensive knowledge of the Financial Services industry, including Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance, and Wealth & Asset Management.

• Insight into business, regulatory, risk, data, AI, and technology trends that are influencing the transformation of Financial Services.

• Strong familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Data & AI, Security, Business Applications, and Copilot.

• Capability to convert Financial Services client priorities into Microsoft-enabled alliance strategies, joint go-to-market actions, pipeline acceleration, and priority account activation.

• Experience in alliance management, business development, go-to-market activation, or sector-led growth within a technology or professional services environment.

• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining mutually beneficial alliance relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.

• Track record of achieving alliance sales, activating pipelines, and generating revenue results.

• Preferred: experience in a global alliance, partner, or ecosystem sales model across various regions.

• Preferred: experience in the Financial Services sector.

• Preferred: relevant Microsoft or enterprise technology certifications.

• Ability to work independently while effectively communicating progress and challenges.

• Capability to escalate complex issues with recommendations to leadership.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
