Financial Reporting Analyst

📋 Description

• Oversee the monthly regional reporting process within Group reporting systems (Symphony/Hyperion).

• Create analytical reports and closing presentations at both regional and Group levels for management's review.

• Ensure that regional forecasts and budgets are submitted punctually, meet quality expectations, and are accurately uploaded and validated.

• Lead the standardization and ongoing enhancement of reporting processes and tools.

• Collaborate with local finance teams to guarantee data accuracy and consistency.

• Assist regional management with ad-hoc analyses, business requests, and presentation materials.

• Ensure timely and precise monthly Group reporting by affiliates in accordance with Group requirements.

• Review monthly submissions to detect errors, discrepancies, and anomalies in country reporting.

• Conduct data validations and coordinate necessary corrections with local teams.

• Support countries in adhering to Group reporting guidelines, including new accounting standards.

• Ensure that budget and forecast submissions are completed on time, meet quality requirements, and comply with Group standards.

• Assist with reporting requirements related to acquisitions.

• Manage and monitor Capex reporting, including tracking regional expenditures and preparing monthly submissions.

• Proactively follow up with affiliates to ensure that all reporting deadlines and requirements are fulfilled.

• Take ownership of reporting activities for designated countries/regions.

• Compile and review regional financial reports for management and Group Control.

• Prepare management reports, KPIs, and closing presentations, delivering insights to support decision-making.

• Assist country and regional management with ad-hoc analyses and business requests.


⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in business, economics, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience post-qualification in a financial reporting role with a large international organization.

• A strong track record of operational results.

• At least 3 years of experience working with Oracle Essbase / Oracle ERP, including the ability to build, develop, and retrieve reports.

• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial data.

• A strong team player.

• Exceptional communication and influencing skills, effectively conveying information to internal stakeholders.

• Ability to organize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
