This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to assist in all financial planning and analysis activities for the company’s product lines, including revenue analysis, profitability forecasting, cost evaluation, backlog management, and expense tracking.
• Serve as a bridge between finance and project operational teams to enhance systems for improved financial communication and monitoring of project financial metrics, including aiding in data collection and identifying cost-saving opportunities at the product, department, and project levels.
• Candidates should possess at least a one-to-two-year post-secondary certification in a relevant area of study, or have one to three years of related work experience complemented by ongoing training. A background in accounting or Office Administration is preferred. The ideal applicant must demonstrate self-motivation, strong communication abilities, and a dedication to achieving positive outcomes. A keen attention to detail and a desire to build collaborative relationships for effective results are essential. The candidate should also engage in continuous learning and self-improvement, and consistently promote teamwork.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and/or data-mining software is required, with advanced skills in Excel. Familiarity with data analytics concepts is necessary, and skills in Visual Basic Applications (VBA) are preferred.
