
Financial Ops – Agency Licensing Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new agencies, ensuring clarity on agency production codes, verifying licenses, managing contracts, updating internal systems, and maintaining communication throughout events.
• Keep an up-to-date understanding of licensing and appointment laws/regulations while promoting best practices to guarantee compliance.
• Work in collaboration with Hanover Sales teams on agency mergers and acquisitions, identifying solutions to facilitate a seamless transition and ensure uninterrupted business transfer.
• Clarify the intent behind requests and outline trade-offs resulting from system or compliance limitations.
• Update agency and producer information within the licensing system, SIRCON’s Producer Manager, and initiate appointments in states not supported by the vendor.
• Create and troubleshoot user access for Hanover Point of Sale for key individuals within the agency.
• Safeguard the confidentiality and privacy of personally identifiable information.
• Engage in daily correspondence with agency contacts and internal staff via email.
• Monitor the group mailbox at various intervals, assigning critical tasks to staff and addressing general inquiries regarding licensing or systems information.
• Create and maintain comprehensive agency files, including contracts, licensing documents, and historical correspondence.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
• An associate's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of experience in P&C insurance or related training; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively – keeping track of various tasks with differing deadlines.

• Some familiarity with Personal or Commercial insurance, such as property, forms, terminology, or other related insurance experience is advantageous. Agency experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills; expert in internet software; proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Familiarity with Hanover systems such as PMS Mainframe, GTAM tables, Oracle Identity Manager (“OIM”), and Point of Sale is a plus.
