Financial Controller – Dedicated Offshore

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for various clinical entities and a digital manufacturing lab.

• Manage intercompany accounts and cash flow processes.

• Serve as the primary administrator for our financial technology ecosystem, which includes Xero, Hubdoc, Dental4Windows, Carestack, and bespoke fintech platforms.

• Develop stringent automated bank rules and workflows for invoice publishing to enhance the efficiency of high-volume transactional data.

• Implement complex monthly payment runs for providers.

• Review Dental4Windows reports against internal financial systems to accurately calculate provider commissions, taking into account lab costs, merchant fees, and facility fees.

• Prepare precise monthly manual journals, BAS workpapers, and year-end documentation.

• Act as the main technical liaison for external advisory and accounting firms such as William Buck and KPMG.

• Supervise payroll tax aggregation and ensure compliance.

• Conduct periodic reviews of operational expenses, analyze margins for clinical and manufacturing sectors, and provide scenario modeling for expansion projects and equipment investments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A CA, CPA, or equivalent internationally recognized qualification is essential.

• Proven experience working with Australian businesses, along with a thorough understanding of Australian financial systems, compliance (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation), and accounting standards is crucial.

• 3–5+ years of experience in commercial or industry accounting, preferably in multi-site healthcare, multi-location retail, or digital manufacturing environments.

• Advanced proficiency in Xero and Hubdoc.

• Extensive knowledge of dental practice management software (D4W, Carestack) or multi-entity ERP systems is a significant advantage.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Must be adept at engaging directly with C-suite leaders and local Practice Managers.
