Financial Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the monthly closing process from start to finish, including journals, working papers, reconciliations, and three-statement reporting, while ensuring our cash flow visibility remains optimal.

• Oversee payroll reviews and commissions for our teams in the UK, US, and Italy, while ensuring smooth daily finance operations such as sales invoicing, ARR, supplier renewals, new client contract setups, and expense management (Spendesk).

• Direct our regulatory and partner reporting (including NatWest and Bank of Lithuania) as well as tax compliance across the UK, US, and Lithuania.

• Actively support our fundraising efforts by addressing investor due diligence inquiries, facilitating the process, and assisting with budgeting and the fundraising model.

• Serve as a primary contact for our annual audit and manage our cap table, master options file, and calculations for share options.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).

• You possess a strong foundation in month-end closing and statutory reporting.

• You have experience with SaaS metrics and reporting.

• You are comfortable managing processes from start to finish and thrive in a fast-paced environment with diverse challenges.

• You pay close attention to detail and accuracy, while also being pragmatic about task completion.

• You have experience with a first-time Big 4 audit.

• You have worked in regulated financial services or fintech.

• You have been involved in a fundraising effort or audit from the company's perspective.

• You have experience managing multiple entities and currencies.

• You are familiar with international payroll, equity schemes (e.g., EMI/share options), or multi-jurisdictional tax (US sales tax, US/Lithuanian corporation tax, transfer pricing).
