This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
β’ The main responsibility of this position is to develop, optimize, and document the Financial Clearance workflow.
β’ Evaluate business processes and procedures with an emphasis on identifying opportunities for operational system enhancements to ensure optimal tool usage for business needs.
β’ Take the initiative to review and assess system updates, coordinating the implementation of upgrades, including analysis, system development, and operational workflow creation, while involving operations and IT during testing and implementation to guarantee success.
β’ Ensure that systems and tools effectively support Patient Access processes, leading to the highest quality data input necessary for generating accurate claims and minimizing denials.
β’ Define and document the requirements of customers.
β’ Proactively oversee and maintain systems, immediately notifying the Financial Clearance WQ Business Systems Analyst of any issues.
β’ Address problem resolution effectively.
β’ Create and sustain QA documentation.
β’ Identify patterns of errors and suggest training or revised workflows as necessary.
β’ Provide consistent status reporting.
β’ A Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
β’ A minimum of four to six (4-6) years in Patient Access roles as a proficient subject-matter expert or in a comparable position demonstrating analysis and problem-solving skills.
β’ Familiarity with Epic Prelude, Referrals/Auth-Cert, Grand Central, Prelude, Cadence/Scheduling, hospital billing systems, and other hardware and software systems pertinent to Patient Access.
β’ Equivalent experience may serve as a substitute for the degree requirement.
