📋 Description

• The Financial Clearance Manager is tasked with leading and enhancing front-end revenue cycle operations that involve insurance verification, eligibility checks, prior authorizations, reauthorizations, and financial clearances for home health services.

• This position oversees a team of specialists focused on authorization and verification while promoting process enhancements, standardizing workflows, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining payer compliance.

• The manager acts as a vital connection between intake, clinical operations, scheduling, billing, and payer partners to guarantee prompt authorization approvals, reduce denials, and facilitate continuity of patient care.

• Significant experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) is either required or preferred.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, patient access, or financial clearance is necessary.

• At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing teams focused on insurance verification and authorization.

• A robust understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and commercial payer authorization protocols is essential.

• Direct experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) is highly preferred.

• Prior experience in home health, hospice, or post-acute care is advantageous.

• Familiarity with denial prevention techniques and front-end revenue cycle operations is important.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities are required.

• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems, payer portals, and reporting tools is necessary.

• An active RN or Therapist license is required.
