Financial Auditor – Commercial Real Estate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Identify areas for audit and quality control within Yardi transactions, accounts payable, journal entries, rent rolls, CAM reconciliations, lease data, bank reconciliations, offshore team output, workflow compliance, financial reporting, and data governance.

• Establish and communicate success metrics and KPIs, which include Yardi error rates, audit completion, resolution of findings, quality of offshore team outputs, recurring issues, and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Assess internal controls and pinpoint financial and operational risks.

• Compile audit summaries and internal corporate reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of direct experience with Yardi Voyager in accounts payable, general ledger, lease administration, or reporting modules.

• A solid accounting background to identify GL coding mistakes, misclassifications, and discrepancies in reconciliations.

• Experience in reviewing CAM reconciliations and auditing rent rolls is highly preferred.

• Capability to write and execute custom Yardi reports, including experience with SQR or Yardi Report Writer.

• Detail-oriented with a strong tolerance for transactional review tasks.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Familiarity with Yardi or comparable systems.

• Understanding of GAAP and ASC 842 standards.

• Knowledge of NOI, IRR, and cap rates.

• Strong analytical, detail-focused, and communication abilities.

• Fluent in English.

• Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern Time (EST).
