This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Carry out accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks;
• Implement transfer and disbursement procedures;
• Issue and oversee boletos (Brazilian payment slips), invoices, and payment receipts;
• Record financial transactions in the system and ensure records are current;
• Conduct bank reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and verify applicable fees (D+1);
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and cash flow management;
• Monitor payment deadlines to avoid late payments or delinquencies;
• Aid suppliers, clients, and partners with financial queries;
• Contribute to monthly financial closing and accounting/reporting processes;
• Validate fiscal and accounting documents;
• Organize and archive financial documentation;
• Process disbursements to partners based on monthly allocations;
• Log settlements in the system once processes are completed;
• Maintain communication with contracting parties regarding received amounts;
• Track outstanding financial balances and carry out collections;
• Make timely payments for taxes and fees (ISS, TLF, among others);
• Reconcile and organize bank accounts;
• Issue and manage bank statements;
• Update internal controls, such as balance spreadsheets;
• Oversee card machines and banking operations;
• Familiarity with the Conta Azul system;
• Experience with billing in the healthcare industry (physicians and other professionals);
• Understanding of taxes and fiscal obligations, especially those related to service provision;
• Ability to work under a self-employed/contractor arrangement, with initial support, guidance, and the necessary resources to perform the role effectively;
